Lifestyle sessions are my absolute favorite. The photos capture a realness in every family. The sessions are comfortable, cozy and more personal. No props needed, no poses necessary-it’s just about the family. Every family is special and each gallery hopefully shows them just how special they are.
I ended 2018 with an awesome family and newborn lifestyle session. It turns out I actually went to high school with the mom. One thing I love about doing this is I never know whose doorstep I will show up on! The family had just had their second little one-a beautiful girl to match their handsome boy. These sessions are especially great for toddlers because they are more relaxed. The kids always love showing me their rooms or toys and of course, the newest member of their families. It always blows me away just how sweet little toddlers are with ‘their little babies’ as they call them. It’s as if as soon as the baby is born they immediately grow up a little bit and jump right into the big brother/big sister role.
Grandma also joined us for the session as an extra set of hands but we all know grandmas are always so much more than that. I always make sure to get the grandparents in a couple of shots if I can because every moment with our parents needs to be cherished. Just as these two sweet babies adored their parents and one another.
